The original title in the Total Textures collection, Total Textures V1:R2 – “General Textures” contains 188 materials, comprising of over 1300 individual, hand crafted texture maps that are all fully tileable. Every texture has its own unique colour map, bump map, specular, mask and normal map.
You will also find overlay masks, which can be used over tiling textures to remove obvious repeated areas, and make it possible for the textures to be used over larger areas. With the 24 unique overlay masks combined with the 188 textures on the DVD, over 4500 different textures can be created. This doesn’t even cover the endless textures that can be created by modifying or switching bump or specular maps.
A collection of image maps designed for texturing geometry in 3D Applications. All image maps have been obtained from original photography and captured via high quality film scanners. Each image is 100% seamless (painted out by hand) and available in two resolutions with a matching hand crafted bump map. Additional features and images are as follows :-

Using this html interface you can browse through all of the contents on the CD and save your chosen maps to a directory of your choice.

If you are a 3D Studio Max user you have the added benefit of opening the pre-made Max .mat library file where all materials have been created from the colour and corresponding bump maps. However the photos, shadow maps and dirt maps are not included in the max libraries and are accessible only from this interface
